So I got the first income from the shirts and 1 mask sold and was able to do my first donation with all your help. While it wasn't a lot, it's nice to get to show some support for things I care about. So I just want to say thank you the two people that bought something, and my wife who also bought a shirt. <\/p>
As for my backpacking trip I had a great time with some new friends and enjoyed some amazing views. While it was only a little more than 11 miles total we camped at the end of the trail because it was just such great views. The best part was the river that you hike along the entire way. One of my favorite things with hiking and backpacking is the amount of freedom you really feel while doing it. Additionally the connection you get to build with the natural world is unbeatable. Every time I go on a hike, or backpacking I just feel so much more at home than I do sitting in my office, or running errands around town. If there was one thing I'd recommend to anyone and everyone is to find a place to step back from all this busy life and just enjoy walking through nature. The reason I came up with the name Return to Nature is because I think we all need to take the time to return to nature and really connect again with the world to see how valuable it is. Not for the minerals that could be mined or the trees for making lumber, but for the peace it can give you and the freedom it holds. The forest doesn't judge how much you make, your weight, how well you talk, or anything else about you. It only cares that you treat it well and it will do the same in return.
